dinner@concorde

December 2011

Won the buffet dinner for 2 at Concorde Hotel during the Dinner and Dance function. Hence, decided to bring along lovely E to join me in the feast.

The dinner was aptly named “Harvest of the Sea”, so there was plenty of seafood- sashimi, lobsters, crabs(cooked in like 6 different ways) and all. If you asked me, I think the buffet will be more suitable for the younger folks with higher metabolism and better appetite. When it reached the end of our first hour of dining, I felt so full and could not even stuff an extra sashimi down my throat without feeling nauseous. I suppose, I rather be paying $50-60 per pax for a non-buffet dinner with tasty and adequate portions rather than a spread of a-okay food lined in front of me.

Anyway, it was a nice evening with the husband epecially when we seldom get to spend much alone time together nowadays…

Explorer Kids with Baby Ryan

February 2012

E and I brought Ryan to Explorer Kids for a day of fun. Our small family of 3 had a good time playing in the ball pool, geting Ryan to climb the the foam blocks and all. Initially, Ryan was really quite intrigued by everything. After about 40 minutes or so, he started becoming bored and went back to “clingy’ mode and insisted that I carry him everywhere.

Because Ryan is under the age of 1, he gets to enter Explorer Kids for free(thanks to Salena for the good lobang). Ever since Ryan met up with Baby Mika at Explorer Kids, Ryan has been going to the indoor playground at least 3 times a week with his grandfather.

However, we had to avoid bringing Ryan to the Explorer Kids these days because of the recent rise in HFMD. Boohoo. Hence, it is back to the usual cycling in the park and all.
