It was E’s surprise birthday party and I planned to to be held at 5 Drunken Rabbits again because we had a very good first experience for Ryan’s first birthday party. E’s birthday started off normally- we had no breakfast because we woke up late, we brought Ryan downstairs for a swim, waited for my parents to pick Ryan up, went to Tampines Mall to get Christmas presents and lunch. So, E was expecting nothing from the day, perhaps a good dinner later in the day.
We dressed up in the evening and I told E that we needed to pass my mom the some diapers at the park because Ryan poo-ed. We headed to the park and there he saw one of his friends, Alan carrying a cake box. The cat was out of the bag. Naturally, E was very happy to be able to celebrate his 33rd birthday with close family and friends.
Eugene Yap, the King of the day.
Our small little family.
E’s parents who brought him up to be very fine man, whom I love so so so much!
My family members!
His Battle Tech(BT) friends who went through thick and thin with him for years. In his picture, you can see the new generation of the BT members as well. His fabulous mates are the ones who also helped out in the surprise birthday party- by getting him a cake, putting up the birthday banner and just being there for E at night for gaming. 😛
Ryan and Baby Pryde.
More pictures of people at the party!
What is a party without food! The manager at 5 Drunken Rabbits- Peggy was fabulous. She helped me a lot in the planning of the event, gave us a nice area for the birthday party and did not mind me asking her so many questions via text message.
This is the birthday invite that I sent via whatsapp.
The Supreme Platter
The Char-Grilled Chicken
Fish and Chips
Once dinner was over, it was time for the birthday cake! E’s childhood friends bought him a yummilicious chocolate-banana cake from Awfully Chocolate! Heehee. The good people from 5 Drunken Rabbits placed a very special candle for E on his cake.
Wow! Look at my boys’ priceless expressions! The birthday candle was definitely one special feature of the party! 🙂
Ryan is totally into birthdays and birthday cakes these days. There is seldom an occasion that he is not the only seating with the birthday boy/girl blowing off the candles and making the wish. Heehee.
Making a birthday wish.
Cutting the cake!
Of course, E was extra happy with me. My work review as a wifey went up a grade after the party.
Birthdays are never complete without a birthday cake(made by Miss Scrapbooker, Kimberly Lee) and a gift.
Happy Birthday, Lao Gong!
We love you so so so much!
Wishing you love, joy and peace forever and always.
