E knows that Papa is a race car fan. Hence, he planned a trip to BrandsHatch watch Blancpain GT Series. The cars are not as fast as F1, but I thought it was a nice experience for everyone.
Here’s Ryan, looking very serious about watching the race with his toy binoculars from the Smyth’s Toy Store. 😛
Our semi-failed family photo. The two kids are lost in the world of racing.
That particular day was really nice and sunny. The only glitch of the entire trip was that we forgot the diaper and food bag for the kids. (-_-)”’ Thankfully, we had some backup diapers in the car and we bought food and drinks from the kiosks.
Here’s me, with my newly cut fringe. I had been trying to grow out my fringe but I suppose I am one of those people who will look better with a fringe. Hence, I got E to but my hair the night before, probably after watching some television series.
One of the best things about having a daughter is the opportunity to dress her up and Gillian looks so adorable in everything!
The children got slightly fidgety and we brought them to a nearby playground while Leon and Papa continued watching the race.
Lunch was quite disappointing. Very boring cafe food.
After lunch, we went to check out the Super Cars display.
I always think it is a waste of money to buy ice cream from these vans. The soft serve with a chocolate waffle is usually £3 and we can get a whole pint of Haagan Daz for £2.50 at the super markets. But E, being the generous daddy is always more than willing to spend on his little ones. Hmmm….
Once again, another failed family photo. Hahahha.
E and his boy trying out the ride from Diggerland. Ryan looked like he enjoyed himself. Perhaps we will make a trip to Diggerland next year when Gillian is older. It will be more fun then!
Finally, a proper family photo! Gillian was sleeping though. Boo.
